Data, purposes and legal bases
When you contact us, request a property valuation service, enquire about a listing or use Sofia, we process the details you provide, including name, email, telephone number, property or search criteria, message and conversation content. We use them to answer your request and take requested pre-contractual or contractual steps (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). We may also retain necessary communications to meet legal obligations and protect our rights (Article 6(1)(c) and (f)).
Form submissions are relayed through the configured Living Milano/Polara service and authenticated email infrastructure to the authorised Living Milano team. Sofia processes chat messages through the configured AI service only after you choose to interact with it. If Cloudflare Turnstile is enabled for a form, it is used as a necessary anti-abuse security measure on the basis of our legitimate security interest; the 29 August 2026 audit did not observe an active Turnstile widget.
Consent-based content
Instagram and TikTok embeds load only after Marketing consent. Without consent, no social iframe or related third-party request is initiated. You can withdraw consent at any time from the footer.
Recipients, transfers and retention
Access is limited to authorised personnel and providers required for hosting, security, email, lead management, chatbot operation and embedded content. Where a provider processes data outside the EEA, the applicable GDPR transfer safeguards are used, such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.
Enquiries and follow-up records are kept only as long as necessary for the request and any resulting relationship, normally up to 24 months unless a contract, legal obligation or legal claim requires a different period. Consent choices are retained for 183 days unless processing materially changes.
Your rights
You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability or object to processing, and withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. Write to info@livingmilano.net. You may also complain to the Italian Data Protection Authority.
